Miami Beach Beer Festival

Activists in South Beach have set up a tourist-for-beer exchange in order to promote humanitarian treatment of tourists.

RSPCT Florida, in the Cavanaugh Hotel in South Beach teamed with three Miami organizations after a local film aired depicting tourist abusers in a simulated orgy of pillaging.

Here's how it works: Anyone over the age of 18 who captures a tourist and delivers it unharmed to the Miami RSPCT qualifies for a glass of beer at the Cavanaugh Hotel.

The limit for beer vouchers was six per day, although hunters could turn in all the tourists they can handle.

Beer is good for you according to David Allen Cole. This report was filed in 2003 but remains popular because beer drinkers love beer info.
