Police Protection?

The Declaration Of Independence makes it perfectly clear, it's the responsibility of all Americans to enforce their own laws. The constitution makes no mention of SWAT teams, government agents and law enforcement agencies.

The idea of a police force never occurred to the founders as they were satisfied with the effectiveness of a well armed militia, ergo the people.

The original concept was; we are all kings, with all the rights and privileges of a king; and that we can do anything that pleases us so long as it doesn't interfere with another king doing the same. In other words, we are kings without subjects.
